NFTA Unveils 2025 Hispanic Heritage Bus
BUFFALO, N.Y.- The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) proudly unveiled its 2025 Hispanic Heritage Bus at a special event at its Metropolitan Transportation Center (MTC) in downtown Buffalo. The vibrantly designed bus celebrates the theme “Rhythm of Our Culture” and serves as a moving tribute to Western New York’s rich Hispanic and Latino heritage.
This year’s bus design wrapped together history, music, and art—highlighting the cultural rhythms that shape the region’s streets and communities. The unveiling brought together local leaders, cultural advocates, and community members in celebration of identity, pride, and diversity.
Distinguished speakers included NFTA executive leadership, New York State Supreme Court Justice and Vice President of the Puerto Rican & Hispanic Day Parade of WNY Hon. Betty Calvo-Torres, and Francisco Guzman, Deputy Commissioner of the City of Buffalo Department of Public Works and Board Member of the Puerto Rican & Hispanic Day Parade of WNY.
The 2025 Hispanic Heritage Bus will make its public debut in the Puerto Rican & Hispanic Day Parade on Saturday, further amplifying the voices and stories that define Buffalo’s vibrant Hispanic communities.
The NFTA remains committed to honoring the diverse cultures that help move Buffalo forward—one bus ride at a time.
