Johanne Jayaratne
Director of AviationJohanne Jayaratne serves as the Director of Aviation for the Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority and oversees all aviation operations.
Johanne has over 30 years of experience in aviation and tourism. He has worked extensively in North America, Europe, the Middle East, South Asia, and the Pacific Rim. His previous roles include Vice President of the Vancouver Airport Authority and Executive Director of Airport and Aviation Services, which oversees airport and aviation operations for Sri Lanka's aviation industry.
Johanne holds a Bachelor of Science in Aerospace Engineering Technology from Northrop University, a Professional Postgraduate certification and credentials in Aviation Management (AvMP) from Stanford University, and a Bachelor of Laws (JD) from the University of London. He also holds a FAA Pilot License and is an award – winning Fellow of the Royal Aeronautical Society (FRAeS), UK.
