Ready for Takeoff: Run the Runway Returns at the Niagara Falls Airport
Niagara Falls, N.Y. — Where do running shoes meet runway lights? Only at Run the Runway, a high-energy race like no other happening Saturday, August 15 at the Niagara Falls International Airport, and proudly powered by Greenlight Networks.
"Community has always been at the center of Greenlight Networks' mission, which makes this event especially meaningful as we celebrate our 15th company anniversary," said Michele Sadwick, Greenlight's Chief Revenue Officer. "As we continue expansion of our fiber optic internet service in the City of Niagara Falls, we're grateful for the opportunity to partner with the NFTA and support the Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club. When local organizations come together around a shared purpose, we create a lasting impact for the people and communities we serve."
This one-of-a-kind experience welcomes runners, joggers, and walkers of all fitness levels to come lace up and lift off at an event where community meets cause. Proceeds from Run the Runway will support the Niagara Falls Boys and Girls Club.
“The Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club has been changing lives for generations, and Run the Runway is another way our community can be part of that mission. Whether you’re running for a personal best or simply enjoying a unique experience on the airport runway, every participant is helping ensure local youth have access to programs that inspire confidence, leadership, and success,” said Rebecca Vincheski, Chief Executive Officer of the Niagara Falls Boys & Girls Club.
The first 250 registered participants will receive a keepsake finisher medal, and Brickyard Brewing Company will be on site before the tarmac becomes your track at 7:00 p.m.
