NFTA Transit Police to Hold BBQ Fundraiser for Special Olympics
BUFFALO, N.Y.- The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority Transit Police are teaming up with Carrubba’s Chicken Pit to serve up some mouthwatering meals for a great cause!
Join us Friday, May 16th at 485 Cayuga Road for a finger licking chicken BBQ fundraiser supporting the NFTA Transit Police as they trade in their pups for playbooks and hit the gridiron for the 2025 Buffalo Bowl benefiting the Special Olympics.
The goal is to help bring the opportunity of authentic sports and acceptance to people with intellectual disabilities.
“This fundraiser is about more than dinner and a game of flag football,” said NFTA Police Chief Brian Patterson. “It’s about giving back, breaking barriers, and recognizing the importance of inclusion for one of our most vulnerable populations.”
