PAL Extended Service Hours Pilot
December 7, 2025 - December 5, 2026
Originally scheduled to run through September 5, 2026, the pilot has been extended through December 5, 2026 to allow for continued data collection and customer feedback.
On December 7, 2025, NFTA-Metro launched a pilot program that provides extended and more consistent PAL service hours. PAL trips are available in the core service area whenever Metro buses or Rail are in service. Express corridors also operate during a standardized span of service hours.
Core Service Area
(Within 3/4 mile of a bus route or rail station)
Weekdays: 4:30 AM - 1:30 AM
Weekends and Holidays: 5:30 AM - 1:30 AM
Express Corridors
(Within 3/4 mile of an express bus route)
Weekdays: 6:00 AM - 8:30 AM, 4:00 PM - 8:00 PM
Weekends and Holidays: No service
